Christ says, "Give me ALL. I don't want so much of your time and so much of your money and so much of your work: I want YOU. I have not come to torment your natural self, but to kill it. No half-measures are any good. I don't want to cut off a branch here and a branch there. I want the whole tree down... Hand over the whole natural self, all the desires which you think innocent as well as the ones you think wicked-- the whole outfit. I will give you a new self instead. This past week in Personal Study, I was flipping through my old seminary scriptures and a little peice of paper fell out with this quote on it. I'm not sure where or who I got it from, but it has helped me to remember who I represent. I love this gospel and I'm thankful for Christ and His example. It's through Him, that we can overcome all things. From repenting of our own sins to forgiving others for theirs. Through Him we can lead, serve, bless, and lift. He is the Savior and Redeemer that lives and stand triumphant today! In His sacred name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
